Role of the Catheterization Laboratory Technician
The Catheterization Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in the cardiovascular program, ensuring the preparation and maintenance of equipment and providing excellent patient care within a sterile environment.
This position requires strong collaboration with cardiologists and adherence to licensing and certification requirements, including BLS and ACLS training. The ideal candidate will have previous procedural area experience and be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular program.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous procedural area experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registration with ARRT or CCI.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Training within six months of hire.
