Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, your key responsibilities will include preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. To be successful in this role, you should have completed a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration. Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred, but not required. You should also hold American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, along with Cardiovascular (CV), (CI), and/or (VI) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required prior to providing patient care, with current BLS required throughout employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
