Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and achieving the clinical and operational objectives of the department. Key responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students. Required qualifications include registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
