The CV Rad Technologist is a critical member of our catheterization laboratory team, responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring a sterile environment during procedures. Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment to meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively with interventional cardiology and radiology teams to optimize workflows and promote effective patient care.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills in cardiac technology through training and education programs.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and proposing solutions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
- Current BLS certification and ACLS certification within six months of employment.
- Previous experience in procedural areas and familiarity with EHR systems.
