As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Cardiovascular Unit, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition.
- Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
- Prior procedural area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification and/or RCIS registration required.
- BLS training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; current BLS required to be maintained throughout employment.
