Job Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Collaborating with a team of physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
