Norman Regional Health System is a comprehensive community hospital system located in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, serving patients with innovative cardiovascular programs.
We collaborate with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide top-notch patient care.
We have received prestigious awards and accreditations, including American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation, American College of Cardiology NCDR Registry Gold Award, Women's Choice Award in Heart Care, Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation, and American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain equipment before and during procedures
- Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
- Foster strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Requirements:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
Qualifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology: Registered and/or RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
