As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in our catheterization laboratory, you will play a vital role in this mission, assisting in the preparation and execution of catheterization procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Our Team and Facilities
Norman Regional Health System features a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, maintaining a sterile environment, serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, using downtime appropriately, and maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
To be successful, you must have completed a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification. Previous procedural area experience is preferred, and you must possess Basic Life Support training, with ACLS certification achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout your employment.
