Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Professional Practice
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, facilitating their orientation and training.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by Charge personnel or managers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A formal education in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS training achieved within six months of hire.
