Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Cardiovascular team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and positions equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, providing appropriate patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment throughout the procedure.
- Collaborates with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff and serves as a preceptor for radiology students.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab environment, preferred.
