Cardiovascular Technologist Job Summary
Norman Regional Health System seeks a highly motivated and experienced Registered Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and delivering patient care during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all equipment is properly prepared and positioned for procedures.
- Provide individualized patient care by assessing patient conditions and responding accordingly.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, Charge persons, and managers to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for new staff members and radiology students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or RCIS certification within 6 months.
- Prior procedural experience is beneficial but not essential.
