Career Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to expand our team.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares equipment before and during procedures, ensuring proper functioning and patient safety.
* Identifies and assesses patient conditions, providing personalized care and support.
* Establishes and maintains a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
* Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and training programs.
* Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
* Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
* Previous procedural area experience preferred.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training required.
