Job Summary:
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System, you will play a vital role in our cardiovascular program. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and assisting during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
- Identification and assessment of patient condition
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment
- Precepting new hires and radiology students
- Maintenance of strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must hold relevant certifications and complete necessary orientation and training within specified timeframes. A completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS is required.
Education and Experience:
Previous procedural area experience is preferred. You must also possess basic life support training and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
