Job Description
This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating advanced imaging equipment in a fast-paced cath lab environment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, adaptable, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, prioritizing comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, utilizing technical expertise to capture high-quality images.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and standard precautions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care, including cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registered technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- One year of experience working in a cath lab or similar setting, preferred.
