Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This individual will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures while providing patient care in a sterile environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with experience working in a cath lab setting. They must possess excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. The selected candidate will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS. Previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not required.
