The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required throughout employment.
