This role involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have certification and training in radiologic technology, with a focus on providing high-quality cardiovascular services in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications within 6 months of hire.
