What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Imaging Technician position at Norman Regional Health System?
The Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist plays a critical role in preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment for cardiovascular procedures. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for procedures, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
