Responsibilities and Qualifications
The CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for various tasks, including preparing equipment, assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment. They must possess strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. Additionally, they should complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months and hold certifications in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility or current RCIS registration.
A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is preferred, with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
