This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless medical imaging procedures, collaborating closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care to patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions.
A successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety.
- Prepares equipment for procedures, ensuring optimal performance and sterility.
- Assesses patient conditions and prepares them for imaging exams.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth within the department.
The ideal candidate will be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or hold equivalent certification, and have relevant experience working in a Cath Lab environment.
