We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining cardiac imaging equipment, assisting with patient care during procedures, and collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Job Summary
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, providing guidance and support in the orientation process.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support training required; Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
