About the Position
This role requires collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, ensuring excellent patient care while mentoring new staff and radiology students. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Radiologic Technologist holding relevant certifications and committed to maintaining high standards of practice in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
- Patient assessment and preparation
- Maintenance of a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Requirements:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous procedural area experience preferred
- BLS training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- ACLS training within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
