Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and providing patient care. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and participate in the orientation of new staff. In addition, you will use downtime to stock rooms, check equipment, and perform other delegated tasks.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you must hold relevant certifications, such as ARRT or RCIS, and have completed specific training programs. Previous experience working in a procedural area is preferred, but not required. You must also possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training and be willing to obtain Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
