As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff. Additionally, you will use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
To succeed in this role, you should have completed an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Program, possess necessary certifications, and have previous procedural area experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
