Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a degree from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics-approved program leading to registration as a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RD/RDN). They should have basic knowledge of subspecialty areas, including nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, and oncology. Additionally, they must obtain approximately 15 hours of continuing education credits per calendar year and keep current with new findings and research.
