Dietetic Expertise
Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled Clinical Dietitian-PRN to provide top-notch nutrition care for patients. This role demands expertise in various subspecialties, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on the latest research and guidelines in dietetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing nutrition assessments of patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through effective nutrition interventions.
- Develop and implement tailored nutrition education plans for patients.
Qualifications:
We require a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RD/RDN) with fundamental knowledge of subspecialty areas, including nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, and oncology. A minimum of 15 hours of continuing education credits per calendar year is necessary to maintain current knowledge of new findings and research.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State Dietitian license are required within the first six months of employment. A food handler's permit from the Cleveland County Health department must be obtained before hire.
