Job Description
This position is responsible for preparing and providing patient care in the cardiovascular lab and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assess patient condition and provide appropriate patient care.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership to ensure quality patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology.
- Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
