Responsibilities:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS position involves preparing equipment for procedures, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. The role also includes serving as a preceptor for new staff and working collaboratively with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide excellent patient care.
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications
