Norman Regional Health System is searching for a dedicated Nursing Specialist to fill the role of Orthopedic Care Provider. This challenging yet rewarding position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise, communication skills, and empathy. Responsibilities include performing thorough patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. To excel in this position, you should possess a strong educational background in nursing, be licensed as an RN in Oklahoma, and maintain BLS certification. The compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate, a 13-week assignment, and a schedule of three twelve-hour shifts per week.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessments: Gather accurate and detailed information about patients' medical histories, symptoms, and treatment options.
• Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans that address patients' specific needs and preferences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and expectation management.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, care plans, and outcomes in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduates must complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
