Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Preparation and maintenance of equipment for procedures.
- Patient assessment and care provision.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Required qualifications include completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, and relevant certifications such as RCIS. Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
BLS training is required during orientation, and current BLS is necessary throughout employment. ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
