Rad Tech - Cath Lab
We are seeking an experienced Rad Tech - Cath Lab to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting our innovative cardiovascular program through patient care, equipment preparation, and maintaining sterile environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students. Additionally, you will participate in the orientation of new staff and use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Required qualifications include a degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, RCIS certification, Basic Life Support training, and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
