Job Description: Diagnostic Medical Imaging Technician
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Imaging Technician to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a member of our cardiovascular program, you will play a critical role in providing patient care and contributing to our mission of excellence.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or health issues.
- Communicate results to healthcare providers and patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registration with the ARRT or RCIS.
- At least two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting.
- BLS certification required.
