This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist! As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing excellent patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your key responsibilities will include preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting new staff members. You will also have opportunities to serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of educational credentials, including certification in Radiologic Technology and experience in a Cath Lab setting. A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is required, along with one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred. Registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is also necessary. Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required during orientation, and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
