Role Overview
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a critical member of our team, responsible for preparing and assisting in cardiovascular procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Compensation Details
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
Job Responsibilities
This role involves:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
- Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
- Maintaining strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
