Key responsibilities will include preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. Additionally, this role will involve serving as a mentor for new staff members and completing certification competencies within specified timelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Equipment preparation and maintenance
* Patient assessment and positioning
* Sterile environment maintenance
* New staff precepting and orientation participation
* Professional relationship development with physicians and leadership
Requirements
* Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
* Previous experience in a Procedural Area setting preferred
* Current certification as a Registered Technologist with the ARRT or RCIS certification
* Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) training prior to providing patient care
* Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
