What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Radiography Technologist position at Norman Regional Health System?
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
