Imaging Specialist - Interventional Radiology

The Imaging Specialist - Interventional Radiology plays a critical role in the interventional radiology department by preparing and managing imaging equipment during procedures while ensuring patient health and safety.
- This position requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and effective communication with patients and staff.
- We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Imaging Specialist - Interventional Radiology to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and management of imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures.
- Patient assessment and preparation for procedures.
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Supporting new staff members during their orientation period.
- Maintenance of professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous experience in a procedural area is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
