We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiac catheterization procedures.
This role includes serving as a mentor for new hires, ensuring high-quality patient care alongside a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists. Candidates require a formal education in Radiologic Technology, relevant certifications, and a commitment to ongoing training in advanced life support and Cath Lab procedures.

As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care. You will also have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, which features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice
- Participates in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in an Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
Compensation:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
