Job Summary:
\The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a critical member of the cardiovascular team at Norman Regional Health System.
\With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, this technologist will prepare equipment, assess patient conditions, establish and maintain a sterile environment, and serve as a mentor and preceptor for new staff members.
\This role requires registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, as well as Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
\• Prepares equipment and supplies for procedures.
\• Assesses patient conditions and develops effective care plans.
\• Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
\• Serves as a mentor and preceptor for new staff members.
\• Uses downtime efficiently to complete tasks and maintain a high level of productivity.
\• Maintains strong relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
\• Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred, registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, and Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
