The Catheterization Laboratory Radiologic Technologist plays a critical role in the preparation and maintenance of equipment, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position involves collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as serving as a mentor for new staff and radiology students.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
