We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining cardiac imaging equipment, assisting with patient care during procedures, and collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Job Summary
- Assist cardiologists with cardiovascular procedures, including echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Prepare and maintain cardiac imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Participate in educational programs and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support training required; Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
