Responsibilities :
Collaborate with physical therapists to implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients across diverse age groups and conditions in a general outpatient clinic setting
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist, fostering patient recovery and mobility improvement
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team
Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies to enhance long-term outcomes
Foster a compassionate and supportive environment, promoting patient engagement and compliance with prescribed treatment plans
Opportunities exist for specialized training in lymphedema and pelvic health, expanding expertise in these areas to provide tailored care for specific patient populations
Qualifications : Education
- Associates degree in Physical Therapy
- Ten week clinical practice from educational program
- Physical Therapy Assistant graduate eligible for Oklahoma Licensure
Licensure / Certification
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Compensation
