As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Norman Endocrinology Associates, you will be part of a comprehensive care team that prioritizes patient well-being and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act, contributing to patient care plans and following through with assigned tasks.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, maintaining exam rooms and work environments.
- Document nursing care and activities, assisting patients during procedures and monitoring their condition.
- Assist with training and development of other staff members, promoting clinical excellence and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for LPN.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, with preference given to those with emergency room and/or hospital experience.
- Licensure/Certification: Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license, with Basic Life Support (BLS) training required.
