Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Prepare and position equipment according to manufacturer instructions and departmental policies.
- Evaluate patient conditions accurately and implement individualized care plans to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols and guidelines.
- Provide preceptorship and mentorship to new hires and radiology students, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
- Manage downtime effectively by restocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing other assigned tasks, optimizing workflow and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians and leadership, promoting collaboration and exceptional patient care.
Essential Criteria
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Complete all departmental competencies within 6 months.
- Hold a valid ARRT or current RCIS certification.
- Prioritize having relevant procedural area experience.
- Obtain basic life support training during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
- Achieve advanced life support certification within 6 months of hire and maintain it through duration of employment.
