Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and development.
- Use downtime effectively, stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks assigned by Charge person or manager.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A formal education in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support training and Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
