Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. This position requires collaboration with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as participation in the orientation of new staff and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
Responsibilities
* Prepare equipment before and during procedures* Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care* Establish and maintain a sterile environment* Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff* Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager* Maintain strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
