Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess a strong foundation in patient care, with the ability to prepare equipment, maintain a sterile environment, and assist cardiologists during procedures. Required qualifications include:
Experience
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Etc.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registered and/or RCIS from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
