What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Imaging Professional position at Norman Regional Health System?
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
