CV Rad Technologist Job Description
Norman Regional Health System seeks an experienced and detail-oriented CV Rad Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular procedures and providing top-notch patient care.
Key Accountabilities
* Preparation and maintenance of equipment for cardiovascular procedures
* Assessment and positioning of patients, provision of patient care
* Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment
* Training and mentoring of new staff, participation in their orientation
* Development of positive working relationships with physicians and leadership to enhance patient care outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications
* Completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS
* Prior Procedural Area experience preferred
* Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology and/or RCIS
* Certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training during orientation, Current BLS throughout employment
* ACLS training within 6 months of hire, maintained throughout employment
