Job Description:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in preparing patients for cardiovascular procedures, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for cardiovascular procedures, using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Operate and maintain cardiovascular imaging equipment, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
